In the web log ‘No Stress in the Subconscious Brain’ there is a paragraph, which says; “The conscious mind/brain reaches saturation mode rapidly so it has to find a way to relieve the pressure. In its own world overload is overload, there is no get out.”

The key to this problem of overload is in familiarity, habit, complacency and fear.

In other weblogs it is noted that when beliefs attach themselves to emotions that is when limiting beliefs gain automatic uncontrollable power over your behaviours.

Stress, stresses and stressors are belief habit behaviours wrapped up in limiting behaviours and one or another emotion; mainly that of fear.

The combination is powerful and it has the capability to dominate a massive raft of daily behaviours both associated and non-associated.

We all do this style of thinking and mind function, and there is no reason that such a behaviour is obligatory. It is purely something 99% of people learn to do by default.

This style or thinking is faulty and a catastrophic way of using the brain in the wrong way with the consequences of a life full of stress and stressors.

To return to the beginning of this blog, Denton found that burnout largely happens due to conscious brain overload, while there is massive unused capacity and no stress in the subconscious brain.

One more thing he discovered was the subconscious survival, protective intelligence, which prevents a stress overwhelm or burnout victim from continuing with their job or career. It is called the “Want to but cannot syndrome.”

The “Want to but cannot syndrome” is how your survival intelligence stops you from going back to do what you did so badly that it got you into burnout.
